Basketball Game Preview: Constantine Falcons vs. White Pigeon Chiefs

The Constantine Falcons will take on the White Pigeon Chiefs at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Constantine saw some tournament action on Monday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 51-15 win over New Buffalo.

Meanwhile, White Pigeon came tearing into Thursday's matchup with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28 points), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 53-27 victory.

White Pigeon's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-4. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 21.4 points on average over those games. As for Constantine, the victory got them back to even at 11-11.

Constantine came out on top in a nail-biter against White Pigeon in their previous matchup back in February, sneaking past 34-31. Will Constantine repeat their success, or does White Pigeon have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
