Football Recap: Edisto Comes Up Short

Edisto lost against Whale Branch back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cougars fell 28-24 to the Warriors. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Edisto's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Whale Branch, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Edisto will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Barnwell at 7:30 p.m. on the 24th. As for Whale Branch, they will square off against Lake Marion at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
