Softball Preview: Frisco Raccoons vs. Creekview Mustangs
Frisco is 0-3 against Creekview since March of 2023 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Frisco Raccoons will head out on the road to take on the Creekview Mustangs at 6:30 p.m. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Friday, Frisco was able to grind out a solid win over Turner, taking the game 4-1. The victory was just what Frisco needed coming off of a 12-2 defeat in their prior contest.
Drea Thompson was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2. Ali Hubbard was another key contributor, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
Meanwhile, in what's become a running theme this season, Creekview gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. Everything went their way against The Colony as Creekview made off with a 19-8 victory.
Kaelani Rogers and Kenzie Martin did most of the damage at the plate: Rogers fired off two home runs, three runs, and four RBI while going 2-for-4, while Martin went 3-for-4 with a home run, six RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Breanna Stepter, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, a triple, and a run.
Frisco's record now sits at 5-17-1. As for Creekview, their record is now 15-10-1.
