Basketball Recap: Northern Patriots vs. St. Charles
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Northern can now relate to. They lost to St. Charles on the road by a 53-37 margin on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against St. Charles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 34-28 back in January.

Despite the loss, Northern still got an impressive performance from Erin Murphy, who posted seven points and 11 rebounds. Murphy is becoming a predictor of Northern's success: when she posts at least ten boards the team is 12-5 (and 1-6 when she doesn't). Another player making a difference was Sydney Prince, who had 11 points and eight rebounds.
