Independence won the last time they faced Centennial and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Eagles walked away with a 7-2 victory over the Cougars. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Independence's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-8. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.2 runs over those games.
