Basketball Game Preview: Parkway South Patriots vs. Lee's Summit North Broncos

After both having extra time off, the Parkway South Patriots and the Lee's Summit North Broncos will dust off their jerseys to square off against one another at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Lee's Summit North took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Parkway South, who comes in off a win.

Parkway South took a loss when they played away from home last Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed last Sunday. They put the hurt on Althoff Catholic with a sharp 47-26 win. The Patriots have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Lee's Summit North's good fortune finally ran out back in December of 2024. They fell just short of Lee's Summit by a score of 41-39. The game marked the Broncos' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Parkway South now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Lee's Summit North, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Parkway South beat Lee's Summit North 42-32 in their previous matchup back in January of 2019. The rematch might be a little tougher for Parkway South since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
