Baseball Recap: Bandys Takes a Loss

Bandys had taken East Burke down for four straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Friday. Bandys took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of East Burke. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cavaliers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-1 on March 7th.

Bandys saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mikey Miley, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Bandys has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. East Burke is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Bandys will challenge Lincolnton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bandys is facing Lincolnton at the right time seeing as Lincolnton is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for East Burke, they will take on Newton-Conover at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Newton-Conover will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something East Burke surely won't give up without a fight.
