Paloma Valley came tearing into Wednesday's matchup with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Redlands Terriers. This was payback for the Wildcats, who suffered a 3-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Paloma Valley was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (103-97), but they still managed to win. The final score came out to 15-25, 25-22, 17-25, 25-21, 15-10.

Paloma Valley's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Redlands, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Coming up, Paloma Valley will square off against West Valley at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Wildcats are facing the Mustangs at the right time seeing as the Mustangs are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Redlands, they will be taking part in a tournament against South Pasadena at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
