Baseball Recap: Logan County Comes Up Short

If Logan County was feeling good fresh off their 15-1 takedown of Todd County Central on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cougars took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the South Warren Spartans on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Cougars in their meetings with the Spartans: they've now lost six in a row.

Hayden Clark was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up a single earned run in four consecutive appearances.
