Bayshore was the 18-16 winner over Gibbs when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bruins took a 23-19 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gladiators on Friday. Despite 117 more yards than the Gladiators, the Bruins couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.

Bayshore lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Jaydis Wiley, who threw for 269 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.8 yards per attempt.
