Softball Recap: Grayslake North Takes a Loss

After flying high against Round Lake on Tuesday, Grayslake North came back down to earth. The Knights fell just short of the Niles West Wolves by a score of 5-4 on Friday.

Kendall Joy made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Grayslake North dropped their record down to 14-10 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Niles West, their victory bumped their record up to 9-14.

Looking ahead, Grayslake North will welcome Antioch at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Niles West, they have already played their next game, a 12-4 loss against Mundelein on the 17th.
