Softball Game Preview: South Philadelphia Rams vs. Franklin Learning Center Bobcats

The South Philadelphia Rams will take on the Franklin Learning Center Bobcats at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The last three games South Philadelphia has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

South Philadelphia is headed into the match having just suffered their closest loss since April 17, 2024 on Wednesday. They fell just short of Frankford by a score of 12-10.

Meanwhile, Franklin Learning Center was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 10-2 to String Theory, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Franklin Learning Center's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for South Philadelphia, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

South Philadelphia suffered a grim 27-4 defeat to Franklin Learning Center in their previous meeting back in April of 2015. Can the Rams avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
