Cor Jesu Academy came tearing into Saturday's match with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the O'Fallon Panthers. This was payback for the Chargers, who suffered a 2-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Lauren Ortwerth paced Cor Jesu Academy's offense, picking up 13 kills. Ortwerth got some help from Avery Finney and her 16 assists.

Cor Jesu Academy's victory bumped their record up to 14-5. As for O'Fallon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-9.
