Basketball Recap: BASIS Independent Comes Up Short

The BASIS Independent Bears came up short against the Garden Griffins on Tuesday, falling 69-46. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Garden's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Quentin Walker, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and 13 rebounds. The contest was Walker's fifth in a row with at least 15 points. Edward Muldrow was another key player, shooting 56% from the field to rack up 23 points.

BASIS Independent's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Garden, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-9.

As of now, neither BASIS Independent nor the Griffins have any future games scheduled.
