Soccer Game Preview: Owen vs. Polk County + How To Watch

The Owen Warhorses will venture away from home to face off against the Polk County Wolverines at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Owen sitting on four straight victories and Polk County on six.

Owen's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They blew past Mountain Heritage 7-0. It was an even better day for Spencer Woolley as he scored four goals for his team.

Meanwhile, Polk County was able to grind out a solid win over Hendersonville on Monday, taking the game 3-1. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Polk County's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 63rd, while Hendersonville are ranked 233rd).

Owen's record is now 8-3. As for Polk County, their record now sits at 10-0-2.
