Ladysmith is 8-2 against Spooner since September of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Lumberjacks were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Beavers. The Lumberjacks not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 23rd (when they won 3-0).

The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-17, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Spooner was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to Unity. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Rails have suffered since September 23rd.

While Spooner ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-17, 25-21.

Spooner's defeat dropped their record down to 7-19. As for Ladysmith, their win bumped their record up to 14-22.

Ladysmith came out on top in a nail-biter against Spooner in their previous meeting on Tuesday, sneaking past 3-2. Will the Lumberjacks repeat their success, or do the Rails have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
