Las Vegas High School Football Rankings

Who's up and who's down

With 18 teams at the same position as last week, not much has changed in the power rankings this week -- but there was still plenty of gameday excitement. A special shoutout goes to Bishop Gorman's junior Micah Bowens, who scored five total touchdowns in the team's most recent match.

No Stoppin 'Em

Bishop Gorman was heavily favored to win coming into its game last week, and the results showcase why. The final score between it and Spring Valley was a 63 - 13 blowout in Bishop Gorman's favor. The dominant performance adds to Bishop Gorman's intimidating total: it now has five blowout victories so far this season. At 91 total points, this was the highest scoring power ranking game of the week.

Next Week's Big Game

The big showdown in the power rankings this week is between Foothill (5th in the power rankings) and Green Valley (9th). The last time they met, Chaparral skirted past Foothill 26 - 24. Will Foothill avenge its loss? We'll find out soon enough.
