Basketball Recap: South Broward Gets the Win

South Broward won the last time they faced Boyd Anderson, and Ayonna Lewis did her part to make sure it happened again. The South Broward Bulldogs really took it to the Boyd Anderson Cobras for the full four quarters, racking up a 51-14 win thanks in part to Lewis, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and ten boards. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.

Aniyah Cowart was another key player, going 5 for 10 on her way to 10 points. She is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games.

South Broward's victory bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Boyd Anderson, they dropped their record down to 1-9 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Broward will challenge Dillard at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Boyd Anderson, they will square off against Northeast at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
