Softball Recap: St. James Tigers vs. Dixon Bulldogs        
        
		
             After flying high against Crocker  last Thursday, St. James came back down to earth. The St. James Tigers came up short against  the Dixon Bulldogs on Monday, falling  17-3. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  back in September of 2021.
 St. James saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Kirrah Drennan, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-3.
 St. James' defeat dropped their record down to 6-20. As for Dixon, the  win was  the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-7.
 St. James will face off against St. Clair at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. St. James is facing St. Clair at the right time seeing as St. Clair is stuck on  a  ten-game losing streak. As for Dixon, they will square off against Russellville at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. One thing working in Dixon's favor is that they have posted at least ten  runs  in their last six games.
