Volleyball Recap: Lafayette Comes Up Short

Lafayette was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of East. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against East this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Tuesday.

Lafayette's loss dropped their record down to 1-10-1. As for East, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Coincidentally, Lafayette and East will both be playing Grandview the next time they take the court. The Fighting Irish will head out to face the Bulldogs at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while East will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
