Jesus Portillo Carrillo gave up the fewest earned runs he has since April 1st on Saturday. Despite the loss, he was still locked in as he struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Portillo Carrillo and Harmon will square off against Atchison at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hawks haven't beaten the Phoenix recently, having gone 0-10 since April of 2019.
