Soccer Recap: Coral Reef Comes Up Short

Coral Reef fell victim to St. Brendan and their airtight defense on Friday. They fell just short of the St. Brendan Sabres by a score of 1-0. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Barracudas came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 201st, while the Sabres are ranked 404th).

Coral Reef's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5-4. As for St. Brendan, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3-3.

Coral Reef and Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) will compete for holiday cheer at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4 goals per game this season. St. Brendan will take on True North Classical Academy in a holiday battle at at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
