Basketball Recap: Tulare Western Now 5-1 over Last Six Games

Tulare Western extended their road winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Malachi Ficher. The Tulare Western Mustangs blew past the Dinuba Emperors 82-59 on Tuesday thanks in part to Ficher, who went 13 of 18 en route to 38 points and seven rebounds. His evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Juan Ramirez-Cortez also deserves some recognition as he grabbed his first steal of the season. What's more, he also racked up three points, the most he's had since back in January of 2024.

Tulare Western is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.0 points per game. As for Dinuba, they now have a losing record at 8-9.

Tulare Western will challenge Hanford at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Tulare Western is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 69.8 points per game this season. As for Dinuba, they will face off against Lemoore at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Lemoore also hasn't been messing around on offense: they've averaged 60.4 points per game.
