Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Crest Ridge). Everything went their way against the Archie Whirlwinds on Friday as the Crest Ridge Cougars made off with a 72-52 victory. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Crest Ridge has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.1 points per game. As for Archie, they dropped their record down to 3-6 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crest Ridge will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Orrick at 5:30 p.m. on February 4th. As for Archie, they will challenge Osceola at 5:30 p.m. on February 3rd.
