Basketball Recap: Chippewa Falls Takes a Loss

Chippewa Falls was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 25th straight defeat dating back to last season. They received a blow as they fell 58-41 to the Appleton East Patriots. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cardinals of the 77-57 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2022.

Chippewa Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 0-24. As for Appleton East, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-17 record.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Appleton East beat Chippewa Falls by a score of 58-41 on Tuesday.
