Basketball Recap: Tyler HEAT Continues Road Dominance on Friday

Tyler HEAT waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They secured a 54-48 W over the Cayuga Wildcats. Given Tyler HEAT's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 63rd, while Cayuga is ranked 1018th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Tyler HEAT's victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.5 points per game. As for Cayuga, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-7.
