Volleyball Recap: Northeast Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Northeast and Oswego squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Northeast had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Indians by a score of 2-1. The Vikings' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Northeast sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 21-25, 25-20.

Mia Hiben was the offensive standout of the match as she had ten digs and two aces.

Northeast's loss dropped their record down to 22-13. As for Oswego, their victory bumped their record up to 16-21.

As of now, neither Northeast nor the Indians have any future games scheduled.
