Soccer Recap: Columbus Comes Up Short

Columbus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 5-0 to the Grundy Center Spartans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Grundy Center this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-1 back in April.

Columbus' defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Grundy Center, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.

Columbus has already played their next game, a 5-0 loss against Gladbrook-Reinbeck on the 5th. As for Grundy Center, they will square off against Denver at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
