Softball Recap: Ledyard Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Ledyard can now relate to. They fell 4-0 to the Brookfield Bobcats on Wednesday. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Colonels were not able to get on the board.

Ledyard's defeat dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Brookfield, they pushed their record up to 24-1 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home.

Ledyard does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Brookfield, they will square off against St. Joseph on Friday. The Cadets' pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so the Bobcats' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
