Softball Recap: Owensboro Catholic Plays to a Tie

Neither the Owensboro Catholic Aces nor the Graves County Eagles could gain the upper hand on Saturday so the two teams had to settle for an 8-8 draw.

Owensboro Catholic's draw makes their record 7-11-2 this season. Meanwhile, Graves County's record is now 15-13-1.

Looking ahead, Owensboro Catholic will take on Evansville Memorial at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Aces surely won't give up without a fight. As for Graves County, they will face off against Marshall County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Marshals' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Eagles' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
