Basketball Recap: King George Comes Up Short + How To Watch

King George was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 92-29 loss at the hands of the Glen Allen Jaguars. Having soared to a lofty 56 points in the game before, the Foxes couldn't push the score so high this time.

Despite the loss, King George still got an impressive performance from Cory Thompson, who went 5-for-9 on his way to 15 points.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Glen Allen to victory, but perhaps none more so than Faron Friend, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten steals. The game was Friend's fifth in a row with at least 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Colby Seay, who posted 18 points along with six rebounds and three steals.

King George's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Glen Allen, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, King George will face off against Patrick Henry at 7:00 p.m. on the 12th. As for Glen Allen, they have already played their next contest, a 68-45 victory against Chancellor on the 6th.
