Basketball Recap: Northside Find Success

Northside won the last time they faced Comeaux and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Northside Vikings escaped with a win against the Comeaux Spartans by the margin of a single free throw, 62-61. Given the Vikings' advantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 37th, while the Spartans are ranked 255th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Northside's win bumped their record up to 23-9. As for Comeaux, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 15-25 record.

Northside will square off against Rayne at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Comeaux, they will take on St. Thomas More at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
