Basketball Recap: Belleview's Losing Streak Snapped at Six Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Weeki Wachee, Belleview was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They managed a 54-50 victory over the Citrus Hurricanes. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Rattlers as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.

Citrus lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Landon Hensley, who posted 13 points and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Braden Villanueva, who went 5 of 7 on his way to 12 points.

Belleview's victory bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Citrus, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-11.

Belleview wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 52-31 defeat against Lake Weir on the 10th. As for Citrus, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 95-40 loss against Lecanto on the 10th.
