Tri-Valley waltzed into their game on Wednesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Chester Hambletonians 47-13. Given the Bears' advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 321st, while the Hambletonians are ranked 680th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Tri-Valley's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 22.4 points over those games. As for Chester, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tri-Valley will take on O'Neill at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Tri-Valley's defense has only allowed 28.9 points per game this season, so O'Neill's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Chester, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Livingston Manor at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
