Gilbert dropped their record down to 22-4 on Monday, which also ended the team's five-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Aiken Fighting Green Hornets by a score of 6-5. The Indians were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Fighting Green Hornets earlier this season, when they won 12-1.

As for Aiken, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-14. That's two games straight that they have won by just one run.

For Aiken's part, Tyler Tindall was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. Tindall has become a key player for Aiken: the team is 5-2 when he allows at most one hit, but 5-12 otherwise. Tindall was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-6 with one double and one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in February.

Gilbert does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Aiken, they will square off against North Augusta at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
