Even though the Michigan Lutheran Titans have not done well against the Eau Claire Beavers recently (they were 1-7 in their previous eight matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. Michigan Lutheran enjoyed a cozy 68-50 win over Eau Claire. The win made it back-to-back wins for Michigan Lutheran.
Michigan Lutheran found their leader in underclassman Connor Olson, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds. That's the first time this season that Olson scored 15 or more points. Isaiah Howe was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with nine rebounds and two blocks.
Michigan Lutheran's win bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Eau Claire, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Michigan Lutheran won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Heritage Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 30th. As for Eau Claire, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Mendon at 7:30 p.m. on January 30th. Mendon is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
