Soccer Game Preview: David Douglas vs. Gresham + How To Watch

For the first time this season, David Douglas will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will venture away from home to square off against the Gresham Gophers at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. David Douglas has given up an average of 2.9 goals per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

David Douglas came up short against Lake Oswego on Thursday, falling 5-1. David Douglas have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Gresham). They put the hurt on Aloha with a sharp 4-1 victory last Thursday. Given Gresham's advantage in MaxPreps' Oregon soccer rankings (they are ranked 36th, while Aloha are ranked 130th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

David Douglas' defeat dropped their record down to 1-4-2. As for Gresham, their win bumped their record up to 5-1-1.

David Douglas beat Gresham 4-2 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Scots since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
