Drury put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Mount Everett Regional Eagles by a score of 7-4. That's more bragging rights for the Blue Devils, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Lucas Rylander made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over 5.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. Rylander was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI. That double marked the first that he has hit this season.

Rylander wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Brayden Canales, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.

Drury's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-0. As for Mount Everett Regional, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-3.

Looking ahead, Drury will head out to take on Monument Mountain at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday. As for Mount Everett Regional, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Housatonic-Lakeview at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
