Softball Recap: Baker Find Success

Baker posted their closest win since March 12th on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Blackman Blaze 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hornets.

Baker's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was NOLA HAVARD, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Baker's victory bumped their record up to 23-12-2. As for Blackman, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-7.

Baker didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 4-3 defeat against Chattanooga Christian on the 4th. As for Blackman, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 4-3 loss against Summertown on the 6th.
