Basketball Recap: Nederland Takes a Loss

Nederland lost against Barbers Hill back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Nederland Bulldogs took a 44-26 bruising from the Barbers Hill Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1089th, while the Eagles are ranked 199th).

Nederland has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-19 record this season. As for Barbers Hill, they pushed their record up to 28-7 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road.

As of now, neither Nederland nor Barbers Hill have any future games scheduled.
