Reagan is a perfect 10-0 against Churchill since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Rattlers will face off against the Chargers at 7:30 p.m. Reagan is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 28.4 points per game this season.

Reagan's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They breezed past LEE to the tune of 42-0. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Rattlers' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 177th, while the Volunteers are ranked 880th).

A big part of Reagan's victory came down to the chemistry between Cody Ragsdale and his top target Jace Huesser. Ragsdale threw for 84 yards and a pair of TDs on perfect 7-for-7 passing while Huesser threw for 89 yards and two touchdowns while completing 90% of his passes. The dominant performance also gave Ragsdale a new career-high in passing touchdowns (two).

Reagan was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 221 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 200 rushing yards in four consecutive games.

Meanwhile, Churchill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. The contest between the Chargers and SA Roosevelt didn't end well, with the Chargers falling 41-27.

Reagan has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 35.3 points over those games. As for Churchill, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

Reagan beat Churchill 28-21 in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rattlers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
