Baseball Recap: Doyline Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Doyline challenged Simsboro on Tuesday. The Doyline Panthers fell just short of the Simsboro Tigers by a score of 4-3. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 7-4.

Doyline has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season. Simsboro's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-9-1.

Looking ahead, Doyline will head out to take on North Webster at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Simsboro, they will take on Maurepas at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
