The Red Devils came up short against the Tigers on Thursday, falling 5-0. Having soared to a lofty six goals in the game before, Oak Hill's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Oak Hill has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10-1 record this season. As for Shady Spring, their victory ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 10-6-1.

Oak Hill has already played their next matchup, a 1-1 draw against South Charleston on the 14th. As for Shady Spring, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 5-1 defeat against St. Joseph Central on the 11th.
