Volleyball Recap: Eagle Valley Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Eagle Valley came into Tuesday's contest having lost seven straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Summit Tigers by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Eagle Valley had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-23, 25-21, 25-8.

Reese Wright was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had ten digs and two aces.

Wright wasn't the only good servers: Eagle Valley was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 17 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Eagle Valley's record now sits at 8-14. As for Summit, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-15.

Eagle Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Rifle on the 30th. Summit does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
