            Volleyball Recap: Eagle Valley Devils vs. Summit Tigers        
        
		
        
        
            After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Doral Academy Red Rock, Eagle Valley was happy to have turned things around  on Tuesday. They walked away with  a   3-1  win over the Summit Tigers. The  victory was a breath of fresh air for the Devils as it put an end to their seven-match losing streak.
 Eagle Valley had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-23, 25-21,  25-8.
Among those leading the charge was   Reese Wright, who  had ten  digs and two  aces.

 Wright wasn't the only good servers: Eagle Valley  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 17  aces. That's the most  aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.
Eagle Valley's win bumped their record up to 8-14. As for Summit, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record  this season.
 Eagle Valley will be playing in front of their home fans against Rifle  at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Summit does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
