Volleyball Recap: Gloucester Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Gloucester lost against Norfolk Christian back in September of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Dukes might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 3-1 to the Ambassadors, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Dukes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Norfolk Christian scored at least 20 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-20, 23-25, 25-23.

Gloucester's record now sits at 3-6. As for Norfolk Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 11-6.

Coming up, Gloucester will head out to challenge Heritage at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Norfolk Christian, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Ocean Lakes on the 8th.
