Basketball Recap: Bronson Comes Up Short on the Road Against St. Philip Catholic Central

Bronson had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell 70-64 to the St. Philip Catholic Central Fighting Tigers. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Fighting Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Several Vikings players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Zeb Olson, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 18 boards. Olson is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last four games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Owen Losinski, who posted 19 points.

Bronson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 53-43 loss against Buchanan on the 5th. As for St. Philip Catholic Central, they have also already played their next game, a 67-57 defeat against Concord on the 5th.
