Volleyball Recap: Aitkin Comes Up Short

After flying high against East Central on Tuesday, Aitkin came back down to earth. The Gobblers came up short against the Rush City Tigers on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Gobblers have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Aitkin now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Rush City, their victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-0.

Coming up, Aitkin will welcome Greenway at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Rush City, they will venture away from home to square off against Hinckley-Finlayson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
