Basketball Recap: Childersburg Takes a Loss

Childersburg and Midfield squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Childersburg had to settle for second. They had to suffer through a 83-38 loss at the hands of the Midfield Patriots. The Tigers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 48-20.

Armonie Franklin continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Midfield, almost dropping a triple-double on 15 points, ten assists, and nine steals. That's the most steals Franklin has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Aaron Adams-Martin, who went 8 of 12 en route to 21 points.

Childersburg's loss dropped their record down to 17-13. As for Midfield, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 17 games, which provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Childersburg nor Midfield have any future games scheduled.
