Byron Nelson hadn't beaten Bell on the road since February 21, 2015 but that history sure didn't bother them on Monday. Byron Nelson came out on top against Bell by a score of 5-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bobcat.

Meredith Hambric looked comfortable as she pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk any time she's pitched this season.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Arianna Morales, who scored a run while going 3-for-4. That's the most hits she has posted since back in February.

Meanwhile, Keller Central came up short against Southlake Carroll on Monday, falling 14-4. The loss continues a trend for the Chargers in their meetings with the Dragons: they've now lost eight in a row.

Keller Central's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11-1. As for Byron Nelson, they now have a winning record of 10-9-1.
