Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cedarcrest). They were the clear victors by a 28-3 margin over the Hazen Highlanders on Wednesday. With that win, the Red Wolves brought their scoring average up to 7.5 runs per game.
Abby Combs was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Combs was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while getting on base in four of her six plate appearances.
